About the classes...
Students will learn the ancient art of glass fusing and create their own art-glass masterpieces! Nikki will walk the group through the fusing process and give an overview of glass properties and history. Fusing techniques will be explained and students will explore artistic designs and patterns in fused glass. Learn about the process and temperatures of firing glass in a kiln and how to score (cut) glass. Safely work with glass and make some cool pieces. There will be a variety of projects to choose from: small dishes and candle holders, sun catchers, pendants and ornaments and seasonal pieces are just some of the possibilities. Students will typically get their projects back within two weeks. No experience necessary.
